Hot take, but I actually prefer the sequel to the original. The original is a classic of course, but the themes of the second movie resonate more with me. The first film was about defining life where as the second is about what it means to live, with the complexities of relationships, making mistakes, trying to fit in etc.

2008 my mom and dad got me both short circuit and short circuit 2 on DVD I still have them today I fell in love with these movies and to see this gives me so much joy I'm 22 years old now it's crazy to think how much time has passed

I almost started crying when started watching this... Johny didn't hurt Oscar and his thugs yet Oscar and his thugs did... I really wish in this scene he still had his lazer so he could zap their asses

This movie is hard to reboot or doesn't need to be, you cannot surpass the original. Since we are in the computer age and A.I. is rapidly developing, a movie that is based or inspired from Short Circuit will be reconsider. They have to recreate everything not recycle, and robot number 5 must be redesign.
